Perform field visits to branches in Lebanon and Jordan for audit assignments
- Perform audit on cash and banking transactions
- Assist in updating procedures and audit programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and BDL requirements
- Review procedures related to existing departments, mainly: Compliance, Risk Management, Branch Management, Financial Institutions
- Prepare the audit report including findings, underlying risks and recommendations
- Review periodically the status of recommendations and unresolved issues in previous reports
Review branches operations on a daily basis.
Develop recommendations for improving internal controls.
Review and creating new audit procedures.
Perform surprise check in the branches.
Prepare reports for management concerning audit findings based on the results of regularly scheduled/non-scheduled missions.
Perform other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the Internal Audit Department and with the approval of the Audit Committee.
Conduct investigations of irregularities discovered by or brought to the auditor’s attention.
Control over BCC and BDL circulars/ intermediary circulars: 152-153-201 etc
