18th Sept, 2015 up to now, Employed by China Railway Seventh Group (C.R.S.G), as Attached staff to JBG as Laboratory Technician to the Project of Upgrading of Dodoma - Babati Road Bitumen Standard. LOT B: Mela - Bonga Section (88.8 KM)
•Responsibility as Attached laboratory Technician in the Laboratory to make sure every test in the Laboratory, it is being done by following the procedure of the test.
•Participating during soil alignments and Borrow pit investigation and conducting soil test such as CBR, PI, Proctor and Grading for soil alignment samples and for various Borrow pits samples.
•Participating during quarry investigation and quality control of crusher, test conducted such as Grading, TFV, Specific gravity, ACV, FI, LAA, and AIV.
•Participating during cement stabilization design of C1, test conducted CBR, PI, Grading and proctor in order to know the quality of materials required for cement stabilization layer and also conducting UCS and Proctor test for stabilized sample for C1.
•Conducting quality control test for concrete by controlling slump during production and casting cubes and crushing cubes for checking concrete strength.
•Participating during quality control test on the road by doing field density test by troxler and by sand replacement method and also sampling soil sample for each layer processed on the road for quality control test such as CBR, PI, Grading and proctor.
•Conducting Quality Control of CRR by doing Grading, Proctor, Specific Gravity, TFV, FI and PI.
•Controlling Spray rate of MC-30 on carriage way.
•Conducting also quality control test of bitumen for 60/70, test conducted such as softening point, density test, flash and fire point, Penetration test.
•Conducting Asphalt concrete, AC-20mm test in the Laboratory, Such as Marshal Test in order to check Bitumen content and Gradation by doing Extraction Test, Density (GMB), Air Void, Stability and flow by doing Marshal Compaction and Refusal density test.
Jan, 2009 up to Oct 2010, Employed by China Geo Engineering Corporation LTD as Assistant Laboratory Technician to the project of Pavement Strengthening and Traffic Safety Improvement of Chalinze-Kitumbi (Package 1 Km 125)
•Responsibility as Laboratory Technician to the Contractor Laboratory participating during borrow pits investigation to be used for widened town sections for G15 layer and G25 layer only test conducted CBR, PI, Grading and Proctor and also quality control test for G15 and G25
•Participating during setting of crusher for design of CRR and test and conducting control test such as Grading, TFV, CBR, PI and Proctor and preparing reports of quality control summary for daily production and also participating during quality control test for concrete by checking slump, and casting cubes and crushing cubes.
•Conducting quality control test for bitumen PG 70-22 for super pave, test conducted such as, penetration softening point, flash and fire point, DSR, Rolling Thin Oven test, Viscosity by Brookfield viscometer.
•Participating during mix design of asphalt concrete by super pave methods test conducted for aggregate for super pave requirements such as flat and elongated, fine aggregate angularity, coarse aggregate angularity, clay content, grading test for each size from crusher and also from hot bin .
•During mix design of asphalt, test conducted such as, Max.Theoretical density of loose mix (Gmm), Compacting (Gmb) specimen by ICT Gyratory Compactor machine to the required designed number of gyration, Ignition oven test and also calculating volumetric analysis for mix design and also for daily asphalt production sample such as Va@Ndes, VMA@Ndes and VFA@Ndes. Also taking asphalt field cores on the road and conducting density test and during paving asphalt controlling spray rate of tack coat by doing spray rate test of K1-60 on carriage way and also taking spray rate of MC-30 on the shoulder.
