1. Assist in labour registration and assist in planning for all production processes.
2. Collecting, studying and analyzing data as well as communicating this data to the end users.
3. Assist in planning and organizing laboratory test and analysis of soil, water and crop samples, interpreting, communicating results and making follow ups on recommendations.
4. Compilation of scouting, fertilizers, chemicals, irrigation, harvesting and grading reports etc and sending the same to the relevant persons.
5. Assist in audit documentation, downloading and uploading data from the website from all compliance audits e.g. KFC, Global Gap, Sedex among others.
6. Liaising with the accounts department in maintaining proper accounting records for economic book keeping.
7. Assist in production documentation and ensuring production files are accurately and well maintained to ensure easy retrieval when required.
8. Liasing with the main administration in production office administration by assisting in scheduling of meetings, sourcing and distribution of office consumables and ensuring controls are adhered to.
9. Assisting in coordination of trainings, seminars, workshop and seminars for staff with other departments.
10. Conducting chemicals, fertilizers and cartons stock audits and communicating the findings to the relevant end users.
11. Assist in Labour monitoring and evaluation of performances against set targets including bonus structure compilations
12. Organizing KEPHIS inspections and documenting on all inspections done and conducting follow ups to ensure recommendations raised are done.
13. Liasing with compliance in ensuring compliance standards are adhered to and communicating non compliance areas to the management and assist in follow up to ensure the NCA’s are closed on a timely basis.
14. Compilation of weekly reports detailing farm operations and communicating the same to the consultant for advice.
15. Incharge of plant labels and signage’s preparations and ensuring they are displayed where they are required.
16. Assist in computer, printers, server and network troubleshooting and liasing with the IT incharge in addressing network and PC issues to ensure that the system in place runs smoothly.
17. Compilation of sticking backlogs in the rooting house and reporting the same to end users.
18. Liasion with sales department in batch number generation
19. Any other duty given by the management.
