Take charge of the quality control of all the QA/QC related activities at Site.
•Responsible for generating new strategies and plans for improving quality of work.
•Take charge of the quality control of all the QA/QC related activities at Site.
•Provides technical expertise, procedures, and technical review and support capabilities in the area of QA/QC to the Project Team.
•Supports the site management in the planning and documenting of work in accordance with the procedures, including the Project Site QC Program.
•Ensures the document administration is properly organized and handled.
•Checks all incoming shipments for damage transit and completeness of shipment.
•Ensures that the Nonconformance System is applied.
•Ensures that all special processes have been identified and the workers employed for subcontractors is verifiably qualified (i.e. welders, inspectors, etc.).
•Monitors all testing and measurement equipment used has been validity calibrated.
•Check contractors QC plans and associated procedures for their work at the site, gives advice if any corrections required.
•Monitors all the inspection and testing during assembly are conducted, checked, approved, and documented as prescribed in the QC Plans.
•Carry out internal Quality Audits on site Sub-contractors, co-ordinate and assist in all external audits.
•Ensures that all QA certificates are placed in the archives as called for in QC Plan.
•Maintains a log and reporting as called for in the QC Plan.
•Setting up and over viewing the inspections, turnover (internal & external) and collation of all outstanding works on the punchlist database.
•Monitors and ensures maintenance of project quality standards during construction, installation, commissioning and initial operations of the facilities and to actively engage in planning and work management, together with the contractor’s QA/QC department at project sites.
•Prepares input to the weekly/ monthly Project Progress Reports for Senior Management.
