Responsible for managing the care of all age population experiencing general medical condition or surgical procedures that require general assessments related to specific condition and general therapies and interventions.
Utilizes the nursing process in the case of all age population which includes assessment, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation.
Provides individualized patient/family education.
Understands the safety risk for each age group and alters the environment accordingly.
Administers medication safely and understand dosages and possible side effects to an assigned patient population on an assigned shift!!
