Regional Logistics Manager

AECOM

Afghanistan

December 2012 - Present

My current position is to guarantee that equipment is shipped to the correct endpoint per the Government requirements. The interfacing of three different computer programs allows my team to meet the mission requirements through percise data entry and monitoring. In the last nine months I've streamlined my team of analysts through cross-training. Concentrated system analyses has allowed me to reduced my workforce by 50%. My region does more with less, and has contributed to a seven figure cost savings to the bottom line. I've recently assisted other departments on the contract with regulatory topics. I find ways to work efficiently and implement process improvement. Within eleven months on contract, I was promoted three times to my current position of Regional Manager.

I completed my bachelor's degree while working full time, married, and with a full course load. My concentration of studies has always been interpersonal communication and message presentation. I received a partial scholarship as part of the university's debate team. In addition to my degree, I have also attained several certificates throughout the course of my time in the military, as well as in Afghanistan. I also believe that education should never end. I continue to seek ways to better myself as an individual, and as an employee.

Coaching youth Baseball

Starting when my oldest son was eleven up until he was fourteen and started playing High School ball I coached his Travel Baseball team. The young men all had one goal of making the High School Baseball team, and through a focus on fundamentals and hard work every boy that stuck with the team for 3 year made the High School team. Two even went on to play College Baseball.
