- Knowledgeable with the occupational health & safety standards, applies the appropriate standard to given situation
- Implements & maintains a health & safety program that maintains a safe & healthy working environment
- Documentation of all safety procedures & provides annual safety trainings
- Monitors standards of safety operations to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of all site personnel
- Conducts daily toolbox (pre-construction) meetings to eliminate unsafe acts before deployment to work areas
- Takes charge of daily reports such as man-hours count, weather conditions, job hazard analysis, etc
- Conducts weekly meetings regarding safety rules and implementations
- Takes charge of project clearances and certificates such as work permits, excavation clearances, etc
- Takes charge of medical supplies and first-aid kits
- Inspects workers’ tools and equipment to eliminate defective conditions
- Ensures proper use of worker’s daily PPE’s (personal protective equipment)
- Takes charge of all safety signage’s and warnings
- Takes charge of emergency plans, first aid and fire-fighting equipment and emergency evacuation drills
- Reports daily defects report (day to day record of tools and equipment defects)
- Takes part in safety patrols, walk-through inspections & health & safety committee meetings

Ensures that company personnel observe and follows established safety guidelines.
Attends regular department meetings to remain in line with comprehensive safety practices of the company.
Assists in the organization of awareness campaigns regarding safety, such as workshops for occupational safety, fire safety, etc.
Assists in the conduct of fire and emergency drills.
Reviews blueprints, lighting and ventilation
Analyze the material that is to be used on the construction site, so that they can design proper signage and disposal methods.
Maps out emergency evacuation plans, including the locations for the extinguishers and first-aid kits.
Consults building codes, government regulations and other emergency response agencies.
Participates in the conceptual development of the construction project.
Scheduling and implementation of the project
Investigates the construction with the safety measures.
