Prepare technical reports for Indian Navy repair and refit projects of deck equipment by
engineering drawings, management, or sales personnel.
Procure materials needed to repair marine equipment and machinery viz. offshore deck
cranes, anchor capstan, mooring winches, windlass etc. from OEM (M/s. MEP Pellegrini,
Italy) and vendors.
Maintain and coordinate repair of marine machinery and equipment for installation on
vessels.
Attend Guarantee defect for Articulate cranes on-board ICGS vessels, co-ordinate same
issues with CGRPT of respective region of Indian Coast Guard.
Design and oversee testing, installation, and repair of marine apparatus and equipment
& Analyze data to determine feasibility of product proposals.
Maintain contact with, and formulate reports for, contractors and clients to ensure
completion of work at minimum cost.
Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-
contractors, suppliers and customers
managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector.
Filing of Indian Navy and GOV shipyards (Mazgoan Dock, Cochin Shipyard, Goa Shipyard
etc.) tenders for marine deck equipment’s and marine deck flooring.
- Reviewing P.O and Planning day today production process, estimation of raw material of products, assigning related work to different department.
- Inspection and identification of inward and outward material and making sure the quality is according to industrial standards
- Inspection of in process jobs as well as vendor jobs
- Inspection, testing and taking out assembly
- Using 5S, Kaizen, PokaYoke techniques to reduce the waste and increase in cost efficiency
- Preparing inspection report of finished jobs
- Making sure the dispatch of the finished product is according to the client requirement
- Maintaining the record of all the man power and utilizing accordingly in different task
