I am a Shipping, logistics and supply chain professional with extensive Ships Agency, Freight Forwarding and supply chain experience.

Having worked at various levels within the respective field of expertise I have developed sound knowledge of the operational, commercial and strategic aspects of these disciplines.

My current role as General Manager entails the overall management, development and profitability of the Ships Agency, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, International relocation, Liner and Survey & loss adjustor divisions within the State of Qatar.

Key Accountabilities:-
 Full Profit and Loss responsibility, ensuring overall profitability,
sustainability and growth of the location.
 Provide Sound Leadership and People Management
 Ensure that overall direction of the location, and business units
are in alignment with the Company Strategy, Vision and Mission
 Alignment and achievement of the company Vision and Values
 Develop Strategic relationships with Stakeholders, Customers
and Service Providers.
 Formulate and Manage agreements and contracts
 Maintain Corporate Governance in accordance with Company
Policies and Procedures.
 Maintain and Develop the relationship with Local Partners
 Awareness of market conditions impacting on our business.
 Maintain and monitor in house ERP solutions
 Identification, development, implementation and management of
new products and service
 Achieved annual profit Margins in excess of 27 % in 2009
 Achieved 120% Growth in the Clearing & Forwarding division over
a three year period

My primary function is to recruit, develop, mentor and reward a highly successful work force dedicated to, in addition to the ultimate goal of achieving the company objectives, exceeding the expectations of our customers and shareholders
