Key Achievements:
•First 60 day plan created and enacted
•Delivered price rises in the Coop Union that were log jammed for Aqua Gulf
•Created an Exec benchmark for the capability of the GM team to enable restructure to occur post Ramadan
•Produced inventory plan to deliver year on year improvement in stock value of 4M KD
•Enhanced the current supply chain function to reduce import issues and warehouse problems

Reporting to the Divisional MD, and accountable for a ledger of £59m, employing 350 people serving the major retailers in the UK and the major foodservice accounts.
Promoted to running 4 sites with combined turnover of £180m
Key Achievements:
•Delivered site turnaround at Vion Suffolk from cash loss to cash positive in 5 months.
•Delivered new manufacturing capability of site with the creation of snacking and freezing lines with capital investment. Ledger growth worth £56K a week. (£2.9m annualised.)
•Delivered 3 pillar financial turnaround with Operational improvements of £75K a week worth £3.9m annualised.
•Rolled out Lean programme on site to all Tier levels

Key Achievements:
•Implemented yield improvement plan at Tranfoods resulting in £780K annualised saving
•Delivered site technical approval for Parkam for SSL which resulted in £5m contract for whole birds and £6m contract for sandwich fillers (6 SKU's).
•Delivered management structure changes at 3 sites in the Group. Tranfood saving £105K.Parkam saving £237K.Trophy saving £69K.Combined annualised of £411K.
•Turnaround of Trophy site through yield and butchery stock control from loss of £60K a week to breakeven by week 6 2010.
•Delivered Effluent savings at Tranfoods together with legal compliance to the annualised value of £56K
•Delivered revised T&C at Tranfoods with UNITE with annualised value of £1.1m.

Named Director responsible for UK Operations for the Pinguin Group with a turnover of £52m supplying frozen vegetables and potato products to the UK and European retail markets. Reported to the CEO and owner based in Belgium
Key Achievements:
•Started the business from the receivers KPMG in less than 48 hours and began to pack and process the 2002 pea crop that was ready to harvest.
•Headcount reduced in 2003 by 60 people on a base of 300 giving a saving of £720K
•Negotiated improved terms with growers in 2003 reducing materials costs £450K together with revised payment terms of 9 months for the 2003 crop.
•Avoided £1m TUPE costs liability by negotiation with the DWP.
•Successfully bid and won the Heinz contract for Aunt Bessie Roast potatoes in 2004 with annual volume of 4000 tonnes worth £2m.
•Set up a lease for all equipment on site to Fortis bank releasing £4m in cash for the group.

Named Director responsible for the UK, European, American and African operations within the Albert Fisher Group with a turnover of £350m supplying Fish, vegetables, salads, ready meals, fruit, to the UK, European and US markets. Reported to the Group CEO and had 12 direct reported across 5 countries.
Key Achievements:
•Led a companywide transformation project with CGEY delivering £6m in operational savings and £5m in procurement savings in 2001/2002.
•Re organised the manufacturing structure of the business reducing the headcount by 163 at Management levels in the 10 sites in the UK in 2002 with annual saving of £4.1m
•Co developed commercial plans with the sales team to win £30m new business in 2002 key being Safeway fresh Salmon and additional M&S ready meals
•Shut down the Grimsby site and absorbed the volume into the Kings Lynn facility with a cost savings of £2m

•Reduced headcount at the Kings Lynn plant with annualised effect of £345K
•Delivered increased profit number in 1999 from £2.6m plan to £5.5m actual
•Supported the above by reductions in Labour costs of £650K and increased factory& packing yields of 2% which added a further £790K.Increased French fry line output from 5TPH to 6.5TPH through downtime reduction/changeover reduction and PPM which reduced working time by 832 hours worth £360K.
•Delivered 3 successive pay award with zero on cost with a value of £250K
