• Manages the Main Contract valuation
• Responsible for compiling and pricing of all the upstream variations of the project liasing regularly with the Technical Department.
• Carry-out a detailed review on the differences between discrepancies on IFC drawings against Tender drawings
• Prepares complete tender packages for Procurement of subcontracted works including, identifying scope of works, marking-up drawings, reviewing related specification, preparation of BoQ.
• Send outs tender invitations, source out prospect subcontractor and suppliers and follow-up quotations
• Reviews and evaluate submitted quotation to ensure what they price is in compliance with our requirements
• Prepares bid comparison and make recommendations to the Senior Management for the most eligible subcontractor
• Prepares subcontract and supplier agreement.
• Manage and administer Subcontractor and Major Supplier’s account
• Valuing progress works and variation orders and assessment of claims for variation
• Invoice checking, evaluation and issuance of payment certificate
• Actual site visits
• Review of Shop drawings against IFC drawings for potential variations
• Coordinate with Technical Department, Package, Construction and QA/QC Managers to ensure subcontractors work are executed properly.
• Manages major suppliers and subcontractors account
• Prepares supply agreement, site instructions, variation orders and final accounts
• Manages Letter of Credit accounts
• Monitors order, deliveries, supplies, issuances and stock on-hand
• Maintains updated record of insurances, bonds, guarantees of subcontractors• Monitors site progress and perform actual site visits
• Raise issues to Engineering/Technical team any discrepancies between drawings and actual installed on- site
• Carry-out re-measurement for procurement, variation to Client, re-measured Contracts and risk analysis
• Evaluate over and under measures
• Carry-out comparison of Contract against IFC and shop drawings
• Prepares, prices, negotiate and agree variation orders to Clients
• Assess, calculates and prices value engineering works
• Monthly site walk- through with the Consultant for verification of progress claim
• Evaluates the subcontractor and suppliers application for payments and ensures it is agreed mutually and paid in accordance with the subcontract/supplier agreement
• Preparation of payment certificate
• Carry-out careful assessment of Subcontractors variation claims and notices.
• Do monthly subcontractors liability report
• Contributes in the preparation of Monthly Interim application on materials on-site, subcontracted items and variation orders
• Responsible for preparation of monthly cost report such as Cost Variance Analysis, Add-on’s Monitoring,
Billing & Collection Status, Change Orders, External and Internal Recoveries, Cash Flow, Risk Analysis
and Forecast
• Carry out quantity take-off, prepares budget, cost to complete, variation order, claims and recoveries
• Prepares billings for client, billings of subcontractor and suppliers
• Daily actual cost take-up and regular monitoring of projects cost
• Control and monitor materials, tools and equipment rental and purchases. Advise on procurement strategy to ensure budgets are not exceeded
• Implements policies and procedure on cash internal control
• Reconcile with Cost Accountant for Project Close-out
• Participates in the preparation of Project Operational Plan, Master Schedule and PERT-CPM.
• Details the schedule based on the present condition/workability of the Project Site
• Computes for the resources loading based on the construction schedule.
• Presents to the Project Management Team the construction schedule for the submission to the client;
discuss with the client and Seek approval of the same.
• Provides the PMT with the detailed target schedule/production
• Analyzes variances on time and resources.
• Maintains and updates schedule - As built against plan. Monitors progress accomplishments.
• Coordinates with the Cost Engineer and Quantity Engineer for the reporting of actual progress of work based on quantity and/or unit price.
• Identifies and monitors events of delays in the schedule for the purpose of claiming time extensions and additional costs. Works closely with the contract administrator in the preparation of claims.
• Generates a tail end schedule to have a clear realization of the remaining works based on the actual and/or target parameters.
