•Receive patients from the reception with their ultrasound request..Emergency and Stat patients are prioritized.
•Proper patient identification.
•Check patients preparation. For the first trimester patient must be full bladder also for placental localization.
•Do scans for pregnant patients and take the parameters. For pelvis ultrasound, non gravid patients, check any uterine pathology like fibroid or myoma..If there is any discrepancy inform inform the radiologist.
•Assist the radiologist while the exam is ongoing and make the patient comfortable.
•After scanning /taking all parameters make sure to save all the images .
•Give some tissues to patient to remove gels, clean the ultrasound room properly and make the room ready for the next patient.
