Maintenance - Maintained and fixed laptops, desk stations, test stations, and various computer components, troubleshooting, diagnosed, installed, upgraded, configured, and repaired computer systems and network system components.
Training - Trained and assisted 10-20 students in training for A+ and MCP certifications.
Supervision - Executed daily operations of supervising students in exam sections (A+ - MCP - NETWORK+ - TOFEL).
Administered - Administered all desktop related functions including hardware and software set-up and configuration, maintained and setup new user security accounts with Windows Server 2003-2008.
End User Support - Provided Level 2 IT support to over 1000 employees remotely and on site. Fully supported end users offering incident resolution including hardware and software installations, VPN support and AD administration.
PC Deployment - Responsible for the successful deployment of over 50 workstations in a single month to end users (onsite and remotely) with D.C WASA, by imaging all the workstations (via Symantec Ghost Imaging 11.0)
Networking - Responsible for troubleshooting DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP in a LAN/WAN environment
Systems and Software Configuration- Created baseline images via Norton Ghost with the latest Microsoft updates
Windows 7- Responsible for all phases of testing and stability for the future project of migrating to the new OS.
Data Recovery- Recovered data from non functional/ infected operating systems within a few hours
Web Based Technology- Saved end users time by educating them on maximizing their usage of cloud computing services.
Support - Provide technical assistance and advice to end users, for software configuration, hardware efficiency, and network connectivity. Assisted and interacted with developers, programmers and network administrators in tracking down common software and hardware issues for USPTO end users. Wrote software and hardware evaluations and recommendations for management review when issues evolved to global problems.
Network- Support various end users on various levels of management, and USPTO training courses (Online & On-Site) via VPN or LAN networks. Monitored and insured network connectivity and performance to WFH (Work from Home) Program user’s using locale work stations and virtual machines.
Remote - Remote to users on multiple locations such as: USPTO campuses, and WFH users around the US.
Security - Reset various security credentials for end users such as: Windows (A.D), Safe Boot (Laptops), RSA Security Tokens (Laptops & Web Sites), and USPTO in house software’s.

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP): Is a program of Professional certifications awarded by Microsoft. Individual certifications are awarded upon passing of one or more exams. The MCP program itself is designed for both IT Professionals and developers. Beneath the MCP program is a variety of more targeted and focused certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.). Like Apple, Cisco, Oracle, Red Hat, Sun and Ubuntu programs, the certifications mainly focus on their respective product, as opposed to employment aptitude tests designed for programmer trainee jobs.[1] These branches of technical series with the MC (Microsoft Certified) prefix include Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Master (MCM), Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA), Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).[
A+ certification: The A+ exam is intended for information technology professionals who have the equivalent of 500 hours of hands on experience. The exams are computer based and composed of multiple choice questions, of which there may be more than one correct answer. Over 800,000 people have earned the A+ credential worldwide, to date. The A+ certification demonstrates competency as a computer technician. Officially, CompTIA A+ certification is a vendor neutral certification that covers numerous technologies and operating systems from such vendors as Microsoft, Apple Inc., Novell and some of the Linux variations. The A+ certification exam was developed in 1993. There have been four versions of the A+ exam, the 1993, 2003, 2006, and 2009 objectives, which are broken down into two separate exams. The 2003 objectives contained the A+ Core Hardware Exam and the A+ Core Operating System Technologies Exam, and were retired on June 30, 2007. The 2006 objectives require that a candidate successfully pass the A+ Essentials and one elective: IT technician, remote support technician, or depot technician. The 2009 certification requires passing two exams: Essentials and Practical Application.
