- Develop, coordinate, manage, and execute residential and retail interior design projects.
- Work with clients to determine design requirements and led design vision, including exterior finishes, space planning, flooring, cabinetry, accessories, materials, colors, fixtures and furniture.
- Create digital design presentations and material boards.
- Visit job sites and collaborate with Senior Project Managers, contractors, and in-house construction teams to ensure all projects were completed according to schedule, budget and client specifications.
- Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed specifications to ensure precise project planning and execution.
- Meet with clients to discuss their design goals and advise them on trends, accessories and functionality.
- Work with measurements and information gathered to create sensible, beautiful and highly functional design for kitchens, bedrooms, offices…
- Produce 3D perspectives and architectural drawings including all details.
- Provide an accurate schedule and cost for each project.
- Create detailed shop drawings for production.
- Compose production and fabrication files and output manufacturing documentation like cutting list, plans and CNC files.
- Coordinate and follow up with factory.
- Contact suppliers to source materials for fittings, lightings, counter tops and decoration.
- Visit sites and assist in installation supervision.
- Inspect project after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
- Meet with clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Visit sites and take measurements.
- Conceptualize and sketch flooring plans and shop drawings.
- Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
- Compose catalogues for collections available in stock.
- Create and administer content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
- Keep records of all products shipped and received. make sure the goods are packed in shipping containers, develop mailing labels and shipping documents and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly.
- Produce sketches and mood board - a collection of suitable images, colors and materials.
- Choose the most appropriate materials for the design and budget.
- Convert ideas and sketches into plans and 3D drawings.
- Attend meetings with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers and construction laborers to determine how interior spaces will function, look and be furnished.
- Supervise the work as it is carried out.
