1.) Administered first aid treatment and provide medication to employees as needed.
2.) Assist all injured employees to nearest hospital.
To accompany patients to and from other units.
•Provides fundamental nursing care.
•To escort and help patients to the bathroom to patients unable to mobilize.
Verifies patient ID information accurtely.
•Ensures patient has letter of permission from the company prior to consultant.admission.
•Checks and records patient’s vital signs, height and weight.
•Marks all chart forms and requisitions with the correct name and file number.
•Initiate requisitions for diagnostic, consultative and therapeutic departments.
•Retrieves diagnostic test results from the Laboratory and X-ray Department.
•Ensures that the doctor’s impression/diagnosis is clearly stated and doctor’s order are compile.
•Submis all files to Medical Records at the end of each shift.
•Ensures that numbered cards are complete and arranged accordingly in the reception area.
•Answer phone calls, identify self and unit.
•Take messages and relays information acurately.
•Accomplishes endorsement Form completely prior to patient’s admission.
Give assistance to all patients’ personal needs like nursing care.
•Giving medication per Orem or via PEG tube on time.
•Administer injection like INSULIN and PROPHYLAXIS as well.
•Coordinate with the Home Health Care Dept of the patient’s hospital with regards on her/his medications and medical supplies.
Verifies patient ID information accurately.
•Ascertains patient is a “Credit or CASH” patient.
•Checks and records patient’s vital signs, height, weight.
•Marks all chart forms and requisitions with the correct name and file number.
•Endorses pertinent information to in-patient nursing staff by means of endorsement Form and follow-up phone call.
•Keeps record on daily consultation/admission and prepares daily census.
•Able to set priorities appropriately.
•Notifies appropriate personnel and new admission.
•Schedules OR appointments with OR resrevation slips.
•Accomplishes Endorsement Form completely prior to the patient’s admision.
Assists the patient with physical care: oral hygiene, feeding, bathing care of the skin, personal grooming.
•Provides assistance with activities of daily living, ambulation and transportation of patients.
•Assist with care and safe keeping of valuable and personal property.
•Assist with admission, orientation and discharge of the patient to hospital.
•Assist with elimination: bedpan, urinal.
•Assist with post mortem care.
