Conduct maintenance and repairs according to Equipment Support & Logistics Manager.
Assist Equipment Support & Logistics Manager as requested.
Act as deputy for Equipment Support & Logistics Manager in leave periods
Organize, monitor and manage maintenance activities in all sites within Afghanistan.
Visually Inspect and pressure test all hoses on BFI’s.
Monitor and record the condition of equipment and service intervals.
Manage assets delivery and return to contractors for service and repair.
Supply contractors with detailed documentation to have equipment faults rectified.
Organize and monitor BFI workshop activities and daily routines.
Planning and execution of stock takes related to your area of responsibility.
Management of sub contractors engaged on infrastructure maintenance tasks.
Implement and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for the bulk fuel installations.
Manage the repair, inspection and maintenance of all operational and general support equipment including but not limited to:
Tools
pumps
Filters
Generators
Meters
Hoses and piping
Vehicle’s
Store supplies
Facilities
Employed as a breakdown and recovery technician.
Using up to date diagnostic and recovery equipment.
Working as a Vehicle mechanic to workshop foreman, promoted twice while undertaking comprehensive training and gaining extensive experience and proficiency in all aspects of the mechanical industry.
Managing and motivating a team of up to forty, ensuring their welfare while delivering an efficient service under diverse operational conditions.
Managed workshops and provisioned for all units in and around Europe to all health & safety regulations.
Team leader of a multi-national section on a United Nations tour of Cyprus liaising between all the differing nationalities.
Organised several arduous and demanding events raising money for charity.
Delivered on the job training to junior personnel on 14 tonne armoured vehicles to ensure all driving regulations and standards within the organisation was adhered to.
