- Developing and delivering research and project writing sessions to supplement the Project module for foundation students
(The aims of this module are to enable to engage with research and take control of your own learning as well as to develop transferrable skills, such as time management, research and referencing, independent learning and presentation techniques. Students further receive opportunities to improve all 4 skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening to help you progress onto undergraduate study.)
- Undertaking administrative duties related to teaching to ensure the smooth running of modules and courses and maintaining compliance with the university’s standards and regulations
- As a module lead, designing and improving the course outline and assessment tasks to match the syllabus requirements of the University of Hertfordshire
- Moderating assessment tasks to ensure consistency amongst tutors
- Undertaking class observations and providing tutors with constructive feedback
- Ensuring all tutors meet marking deadlines and adhere to the required standards
