Danica Damalerio

Throughout my academic journey, I developed a solid foundation in teaching methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning, and student-centered instruction. During my teaching internship at Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, I taught diverse groups of students, facilitated engaging classroom discussions, designed interactive learning activities, and adapted lessons to meet different learning needs. These experiences strengthened my confidence in creating a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment. I have also held various leadership and community roles that enhanced my organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills. I served as the President of the League of Loay Scouts, the Public Information Officer of our town organization, and previously as its Secretary. As an aspiring educator, I am also passionate about educational research. I successfully published my undergraduate research entitled "PANDAY SA PUTHAW: A Marcusean Analysis of Blacksmithing in Villalimpia, Loay, Bohol,"which explored local cultural heritage through critical social theory. Conducting and publishing this research strengthened my analytical thinking, academic writing, and appreciation for culturally responsive education—qualities that I believe are valuable in today's global classrooms.
