I currently serve as an assistant manager, Finance & Account my duties includes but not limited to;
preparing and monitoring daily fund movement register,
budget review and utilization reporting,
preparing bank and cash accounts reconciliation reports,
liaising with banks for financial transactions,
preparing payables and receivables reports,
assisting in the preparation of management accounts,
carrying out special cost investigation and audit,
general control of cash and cash equivalents and
preparing any other reports or duties as stipulated by my line manager.
I served as the company accountant, my duties includes;
* controlling the use of the company’s assets,
* ensuring that moneys are spent on what such money was approved for,
* preparing budgets and financial statements,
* liaising with external financial consultants,
* putting adequate control measures in place to ensure that our ultimate goals are achieved and
* reconciling bank transactions and maintaining an imprest system.
I assisted the business department in teaching student on business and accounting topics.
