• Committed and competent professional with expertise in key result areas pertaining to Piping Construction Management with Techno commercial competencies; possess expertise in Piping Components, Piping Supports, Piping layouts, codes and system design.
• Knowledge of preparation of piping design systems including piping development of piping layout, isometrics, pipe supports and pipeline profile.
• Hands-on-experience in reviewing of GA Drawings with P & ID, ISO Drawings; skilled in Piping Standards and Codes & Safety Practices.
• Inspection of spools fabrication, spools erection, pipe alignment & supporting Undertaking line checking through Structural drawing, isometric drawing, P&ID.
• Monitoring Pre heating, PWHT, Hardness checking, Hydro testing and pneumatic testing of pipe spools during fabrication and erection.
• Proven expertise in implementing cost saving and manpower rationalization projects to achieve overall competitiveness.
• Conversant with International Codes, Statutory regulation and standards of Piping and optimization of Pipes.
• Liaises with all concerned in the project ensuring the availability of plant, equipment, manpower and material required for executing work.
• Controlling and coordinating all activities directed towards the execution of the work package entrusted, by using construction crew made up of various trades, Preparation of day-today activities, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Exercising professional and technical competence in order to monitor the quality of work under progress and advising subordinates on the work methods with which they are not familiar.
• Always checking on the work in progress to ensuring proper output in terms of both quality and quantity. Also ensuring that safe methods are employed.
• Preparing working sketches as required for aiding subordinates in getting work carried out accordance with the contractual specifications and craft standards.
• Coordinating with contractor’s counterpart.
