I am currently deputed at Abdudawood Trading Company Pakistan (Private) Limited where my job description is as follows:
- Preparation of monthly Sales Tax return (Federal and Provincial)
- Preparation of monthly withholding statements (Federal and Provincial)
- Prepare monthly reconciliation to ensure no input tax claim has been suffered by the Company
- Review of Annual Financial Statements and aid in preparing Income Tax return for the Company
- Keep track of notices from the tax department to ensure timely compliance
- Liaise with the tax consultant in relation to notices received and aid in preparing an appropriate response
- Keeping a track of all open assessments and liaise with the tax consultant in order to finalize and provide details required by the tax authority
- Monitoring and analyzing fiscal development including latest tax notifications issued by the local tax authorities and its impact on the Company
- Review of business model and day-to-day transactions to ensure correct tax implication has been adhered

- Ensuring appropriate management reporting on key tax issues and advising on tax matters in business transactions and projects (including the provision of advice on due diligence for
key clients
- Attending and contesting hearings on behave of various clients before the tax officer and Commissioner with all preparation
and case knowledge
- Preparation of monthly Sales Tax Return (Federal and Provincial)
- Preparing sales tax documentation and workings against notices issued by tax authorities
- Managing indirect tax audit and tax legislation
- Tax planning for international clients
