Sharjah Islamic Bank was established in 1975 to provide commercial banking services to companies and individuals.
•Appointed as Sr. System Engineer for Equation Development & Support, reporting to SIB Head of Development, to work specifically on an Equation Development & Support project at SIB in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
•Worked as an internal resource providing wide range of Technical supervision to SIB’s IT department, with specific concentration on Software Project Management, iSeries System Management and Core Banking Product Set-up
•Responsible for Equation related Development, collection of specifications / business requirements, User Exits and API Development that covers the majority of Equation modules for SIB as well as the Documentation of Technical Details and User Guide preparation for Project Products and Services
•Oversaw Training & Techno Functional Support for Banks IT Team, in-house Systems Development & Support relating to specific business needs, and the prompt design and implementation of Development processes
Project: Equation (Misys) Development / Support project at Jeddah, Saudi
Responsibilities: EQU. Related Development and Support
• Collection of requirements specification
• Designing and timely development
• Technical Details and user guide preparation relating to project product / Services
• Conduct UAT and OAT’s with Banks business user(s) and operations
• Finally handing over product, modules and/or functions to Banks IT for deployment and future support
Project: Equation (Misys) Implementation project at Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities: EQU. Reports development
• Collection of requirements specification
• Designing and timely development
• Technical Details and user guide preparation relating to project product / Services
• Conduct UAT and OAT’s with Banks business user(s) and operations
• Finally handing over developed modules / functions to Banks IT for deployment and future support
Project: Equation (Misys) Implementation project at Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities: Development of in-house products / procedures and EQU User exits (CMS, ECP)

• Conducting UAT and OAT’s with Banks business user(s) and operations

Responsibilities: Development Team Lead, responsible soundless Banking Operation 24/7.
• Designing and timely deployment with measures of UAT’s and OAT’s.
• Equation DBA System support for (Equation Business / Non Business hour processing and Interface systems of Misys)
• Equation DBA EOD System support, patch(s) installation
Responsibilities: Prime is Integration Project b/w Misys (Equation) and the Global System developed and used by Standard Chartered Bank eBBS (Electronic Banking System)
• Involved in Business Process Integration (BPI)
• Involved in Mappings for Business Practices and Portfolios
• Communications with eBBS’s Technical / Business Teams
• Development of Extracts using ILE (CLP, RPG, PLSQL, DDS) i.e. main Customers, subsidiary accounts with Static and Financial information held in Equation like Balances, Cheque Req. Issuances, Loan and Deposit Deals, Running Finance, Customer / Account Level Interest Accruals, Customer Limits, Risks
• Business Analysis (Ex -Union Bank Using Equation for 65 Branches) specifically required for catering In-house Products in Line with Core Banking System
• Call Centre and Card Information, method’s of existing Functionality
• Finally responsible as Source for Balancing (Trial Balance, Branch and Currency wise)
• Development for AUTO’s HOME and PERSONAL Loans for surrounding System.
Responsibilities: Support of Equation DBA Banking Application, Design and Develop Function and methods integrated with Equation (As per Business need).

Responsibilities: Principal Support of MIDAS DBA-3 Banking Application and methodical screening of IT functions for accommodation of upcoming Banking needs.
• Support of day to day Business issues (Midas User)
• Particularly involve in Dealing, Commercial Lending and Account Services Modules of Midas.
• MIS Generation as per user specific needs.
• Support for the Co Ordination issues generated between MDAS and TI Systems
(No direct support for Trade Business Users)
• In context of Co Ordination, working to meet the requirement for Transmission of Data elements externally TI Midas (other than the Default Standards)
Responsibilities: System Analysis n design, Client Site System Management (Assistance to programmers as Team lead), Application Development
• Major's Services, Pharmaceutical, Finance and Auto Mobiles Domains
Responsibilities: Support Equation DBA Banking Application, Design and Develop Function and methods integrated with Equation (As per Business need).
• Provide an ad-hoc support service to business user's relating daily Retail Banking concerns (Core banking and Dealing Business).
• Carry through testing and diagnose issues, provide solutions in response for Implementation and deployment to Manager, Banking Applications.
• Review appropriate Security measurers including access control and System rebuild n recovery processes
• Setup/Create Equation DBA Units, Install Releases Patches either to Unit or Base System
• Setup/maintain Equation CST(s) and System Variables.
• AS400 Client/Server Control System, Configuration and troubleshooting of TI
• Install and configure, AS400 Operating System software plus related tools, DB2 Database
• Business Analysis and Application Development as and when required
