Overall P & L responsibility for Dubai Visa Processing & Travel Business in Kenya, India & UAE, with special emphasis
on operational efficiency, quality and cost effective service delivery.
* Contracting with Destination management companies in Dubai & Kenya for Ground Handling.
* Contracting & negotiating with OTAs, Hotels in Dubai, Kenya & Tanzania - Star categories & Apartments.
* Undertaking Business Development & Sales activities in Kenya & India - Direct B2B and other online marketing modes.
* Maintain and expand existing business relationships with clients and develops /explore new opportunities to ensure
continuous business growth in line with company’s strategic direction.
* Develop and implement an effective business development plan to meet or exceed established strategic business
objective.
* Undertake marketing initiative for the product to increase sales and revenue.
* Attend Trade Fairs - WTM, ATM and other trade fairs.
* Preparing market specific Products and Itineraries.
* Researching on destinations and tailoring new products.
Drive the new Visa operational Process and train the departments (Leisure/Corporate) on the proper usage and
working of the Visa Software & Visa knowledge Centre.
* Relationship Building with Diplomatic Missions Eastern India for smooth functioning of visa process.
* Relationship building with various tourism boards (wherever present) and tourism departments in diplomatic
missions.
* Liaison with Passport office, FRRO, MEA and MOT for understanding thereby strengthening business ties at various
levels.
* B2B sales of the Visa, passport product, Attestation & legalization Services.
* Relationship building with corporate clients for immigrations and visa services.
* Sales to corporate of special services independently from other travel related services.
* Achieve Cross-selling targets for the year & Meeting Team and personal KRAs for the year.
* Drive Sales through different medium i.e. Just Dial Service, Incentive promos, group visa discount, road shows.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT:
Transformed a loss making unit a profitable business unit.
Transformed TCVPS -Kolkata from a loss of INR 70K in 09-10 to a profit of INR 16 Lacs in 2010-2011 & to profit of INR 33 Lacs
to achieve the KRAs and EBITA for the Dubai Visa Processing business Unit based in Johannesburg, South
Africa.
* Delivering the service requirements in accordance with the SLAs mutually agreed and signed by VFS and Client -
Emirates Airlines.
* Liaisoning with different backend and Support department to ensure the smooth functioning of the Operation.
* Liaisoning with vendors for expansion purposes.
* Target Ownership - Responsible for completing the allocated target applications for the year.
* Cost Ownership - Responsible for controlling the cost heads for the unit.
* Weekly updates - Responsible for reports to be sent to clients and departments on weekly basis.
* Monthly Report - Sales report for the month.
* Mystery Audit - To conduct mystery audit calls to monitor the quality and product knowledge of the call centre
executives.
* Complaint Management process in coordination with Operation Head Overseas.
* TAT at the VAC on application in coordination with Operation Head Overseas.
* Client Feedback process in coordination with Operation Head.
• Working to achieve the KRAs and EBITA for the branch.
• Delivering the service requirements in accordance with the SLAs mutually agreed and signed by VFS and Client - Emirates Airlines & Singapore Mission.
• Responsible for the Operation of the branch.
• Responsible for B2B of the Dubai Visa & Singapore Visa business.
