Approval of Request for Inspection (RFI) and Material Inspection Request (MIR) and maintaining the Log for RFI and MIR.
Ensure that the work is carried out and executed as per the drawings, specifications and material submittal sheets.
Ensure that the deficiencies are lifted before work finalization and notifies to the site management.
Ensure that all equipment and system installations are operational according to the Design specification and client’s satisfaction.
Verifies the subcontractor’s compliance with the requirements, such as materials, workmanship functional performance and identification.
Ensure records of inspection, testing and any other related activities and necessary documentation are in order and readily retrievable.
Establish liaison with consultants representative on quality related matters and makes available copies of documentation and test performed.
Prepare Notice of Non Conformance report NCR for rejects for work that does not comply with contract documents .Log the NCR and the corrective action procedures and report to the concern.
Reviews test procedures, coordinates and agree with the consultant on the test data.
Coordinates directly with site management and subcontractor to identify deficiencies and countermeasures.
Supervised the QC team as a team member.
Disseminate the technical info (TI) to all the concerned dept.
Involved in different types of inspections;
- QC-random inspections,
- After installation inspections &
- Joint Hand Over inspections.
