Contract role leading on the strategic brand, communications and marketing approach and guidelines for Locala Health & Wellbeing and the internal and external rollout following the launch of a new three-year organisational strategy and new working name.
Account manager and marketing lead for internal clients in the business support division. Used market research and insights to plan, manage and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, PR and radio.
Responsibilities also included copywriting, content creation including videos and animations, emailing marketing and
website build and development. Key achievements: Increased brand awareness from 45% to 55% between 2020 to 2021; Increased email subscribers by over 20% and increased the open rate from an average of 14% to 23% between 2020 -2021; Recognised as a valued and supportive team member in the 2020 staff awards.
Led annual regional marketing plans for Yorkshire and the North West of England. Key responsibilities included creating and delivering multi-channel regional marketing plans, budget management, brand health analysis, post-campaign evaluations and brand guardian.
Key achievements: Developed over seven brand-relevant local partnerships with entertainment companies, music venues,
shopping centres and sporting venues to drive awareness and interest in the radio station and brand; Drove more young listeners to the station, reducing the average age closer to the target audience through tactical partnerships, events and social media campaigns.
Planned insight-led local marketing campaigns for new stores, stores impacted by a competitor and stores being upgraded UK-wide. Worked with a range of creative and media agencies to create multi-channel campaigns included digital advertising, PR, social, outdoor, direct marketing, in-store sampling and events. Key achievements: Created a new and compelling proposition to attract seasonal tourists visiting local campsites to increase Asda’s market share. The one-stop-shop proposition promoted Food to Go for hassle-free days out with the family, the rotisserie counter for quick and easy evening meals and the petrol station to fuel the caravan; Identified and implemented a new process for supplying hoarding to upgraded stores to deliver the business an annual saving of £52, 000.

and social analytics. Key achievement: Generated leads that resulted in winning three new clients.
This course is accredited by the CIM and provided me with specialist knowledge in marketing communications and advertising, alongside developing my understanding of key areas of marketing strategy and research. Modules included; Global Strategic Marketing, Media Planning and Strategy and Public Relations.
This was both a theoretical and practical degree which allowed me to undertake several filming, editing and journalism work placements and projects across television and radio. Throughout this degree I developed journalist writing skills, research and interviewing skills. Producing television, radio and print media materials also developed my video and photo editing skills using the Adobe Creative Suite.
