• Worked with Dr. George Perides, P.I. in surgical research facility and laboratory
• Work includes: mouse inter-peritoneal injections, tissue collection euthanasia and necropsy/pancreatectomy. surgical techniques (suturing, cauterizing and dissecting) and anesthesia in mice.
On a daily basis, preformed multiple PCR's procedure.
Practiced surgical techniques and anesthesia in swine ( swine intubation, surgical set up, reading vital signs)
Watched venectomy and open-heart surgery on human cadavers for biomedical device testing.
All training done by Dr. Perides or by training sessions offered by the DLAM ( Dep. Of Lab Animal Medicine)
