Head of Biomedical Engineering Department
Managing the daily operations of the biomedical engineering department by assigning workload, supervising staff and addressing medical staff needs.
Preparing policies and procedures for the biomedical department according to the hospital standardization and make sure that all the department team follows them up.
Assisting in designing hospital departments depending on the different specialties and the equipment pre-installation needs
Ensure that the hospital is designed and is performing according to the JCI standard
Planning department budget and holds performance to the budget.
Receiving all medical equipment according to the signed contract
Managing the installation, testing and commissioning of each new purchased medical device
Preparing training seminars related to different machines in order to increase the level of competency for all the nursing department
Preparing a yearly report for the accounting department concerning the maintenance contracts signed with the suppliers
Preparing tenders, and specification sheets for any new purchasing project and perform comparative studies between the offers received
Holding contact with the medical equipment distributor companies in Lebanon to purchase any new equipment to the hospital according to our specifications needed.
Participating in the Equipment Management Program by ensuring that the hospital's medical technology is wisely utilized, performs properly, consistently, safely, and is routinely maintained.
Preparing statistical reports regarding the abuse of the machines consumables like the kits for the lab machines&
Providing equipment training for physicians, medical staff, engineers, and technicians according to a pre-planned schedule
Providing a yearly basis plan for calibration and preventive maintenance for all medical equipment
Supervising all outside contractors working in our facility on any of the medical equipment
