Planning, organizing and controlling of Warehouse' over-all operations Such as Aramco- CCC- Petrofac- Schlumberger- Halliberton- Deportee Camps- KAUST-Amiantit- JGC- Riyadh Cables-
Manage the inventory and warehousing activities including warehousing operations and inventory planning and optimization to ensure efficient, safe, and systematic operations, whilst meeting service standards and ensuring cost efficiencies.
Contribute to the inventory and warehousing strategy implementation in line with the functional strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departments
Contribute to the preparation of the department’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget
Oversee and coordinate the inventory planning related to reorder level based items for each plant with the respective Plant planning function to ensure that all relevant inputs have been accounted for in an accurate and realistic manner and the inventory levels are maintained / re-ordered accordingly
Periodically analyze the overall Inventory and stock movements for each Plant and along with the Plant Management implement actions to ensure the inventory is optimized
Oversee the physical stock cycle counts / reconciliation activities between systems/ inventory and warehouses to identify and rectify inaccuracies as well as ensure effective inventory management and control
1- Prepares purchase orders for supervisory approval
2- Meets with requesters to ensure full understanding of the need and that the proposed purchase
3- Perform research in obtaining price quotes for regularly required and special project
4- Performs records management functions associated with re-ordering and budget tracking
5- Participate in the initial project meetings to determine and agree to specific procurement strategies policies, procedures, lines of communication, and to specify necessary terms and conditions of purchase.
6- Develops and issues the Project Procurement Instructions, the Project Bidders List, and the Procurement Plan, which establishes the manner or procurement execution for the project
1- Search for new supplier whom will give the best prices for the desired quality specifications in the fastest delivery requirement
2- Assign the receiving personnel to receive and store the delivered material in their adequate places
3- Issue material to the required cost centers from general stores 4- Prepare purchase orders to specific supplier for the missing products from stores
5- Develop sourcing strategy relative to the product
6- Perform professionally and build a good business relationship with suppliers
1- Searching the best merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost
2- Continually strive to increase understanding of material and processes associated with the product assigned for purchase.
3- Analyze and strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, availability, and capacity, technology and supplier capability relative to the product as-signed.
4- Manage, educate, train and supervise assigned personnel in their duties and product responsibilities.
5- Organize and issue required status reports to management outlining performance vs. original projected schedules and objectives
6- Exhibit understanding of market trends, pricing, processes and material related to as-signed product
