PROJECT: GREEN RIYADH | CLIENT: RCRC | PMO: WSP | PMC: PARSON|

I am involved in the Green Riyadh Project as QA/QC engineer for the districts of Al Jazeera, Qurtubah, and Azizia. Our scope covers the Construction of 95 parks, development of more than 100 Schools, 197 Mosque And in addition of 120 km streets and roads developments for irrigation and landscaping.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

Inspection of the project’s Quality tasks, ensuring that every member of the project has an awareness of the quality requirements, the Project Quality Plan (PQP), and procedures, including project specifications and requirements.
Supervise subcontractors and suppliers’ activities as per ACI and ASTM Standards to ensure compliance with approved quality requirements as per QMS and project specifications. Identify nonconformities and provide corrective and preventive actions in coordination with project teams.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, test results, Non-Conformance Reports NCRs, Site Observation Reports SOR, Site Visit Reports (SVR, Work Instructions WIKI, and Audit records.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to overcome quality-related issues.
Perform testing and verification of construction materials as per project specifications and ASTM standards to get the desired results.
Conduct surveys, audits of materials, inspections of work processes, and complete construction works to fulfill the quality standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor ongoing construction activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Supervise on-site asphalt activities, including Prime Coat “MC1”, Bitumen Base Course “BBC”, Tack Coat “RC2”, and Bitumen Wearing Course “BWC”, as per project specifications and local standards, following ASTM 6926, ASTM 6927, ASTM 2172, and ASTM 5444 to ensure all results meet project KPI targets.
Look after every activity that is related to Civil work for the transmission line, Main line, Sub-main line, Low voltage “LV” cable, Wastewater, and also PLPP, Air valve, Washout valve, and sub-station foundations and chambers casting on site and precast as well.
Manage situ Reinforced Structural Concrete and Plain Cemented Concrete “PCC” testing procedures as per ASTM Standards and ACI Standards, including temperature “ASTM 94” Ready Mix Concrete, “ASTM 1064” Measure Temperature, slump “ASTM 143”, and cylinder sampling “ASTM C31”, ensuring all results meet project KPI targets.
Also conduct inspections of all preceding and succeeding activities related to Architecture work, such as Interlock, Paver Tiles, Tack Tiles, bollards, bollard benches, picnic tables, pergolas, kiosk areas, and other activities that belong to softscape and hardscape areas.
Ensure every member of the execution team is properly trained in quality control procedures, documentation requirements and is aware of safety protocols.

JOB RESPONCEBILITIES.

Supervise engineering teams and subcontractors to execute large-scale residential and commercial building projects, as well as industrial projects, ensuring full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and ASTM/ACI material specifications.
Coordinate all aspects of the project, from the initial design stage through construction and handover, ensuring compliance with the ACI 318 building code and safety regulations.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, consistently delivering projects within time and cost constraints.
Reviewed the Architecture, Structure, and MEP drawings to identify clash detection, then arranged a single-bench meeting to overcome this.
Reviewed structural component design in ETABS software, like slabs, beams, and columns at different locations and Levels of a concrete frame structure, to make an economical structure without compromising safety.
Always in touch with the client, local regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and execution team to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues promptly.
Reviewed Method of Statement (MST), managed site activities and inspections, monitored construction progress, and prepared reports for clients and senior management to update them.
Attend meetings once a week, “every Monday, ” with the client and consultant to discuss upcoming challenges and discuss the forecast plan. Then, on the next day, “every Tuesday, ” call an internal meeting with execution teams to assign tasks for upcoming activities and their challenges. And always cheer them; you all can do it.
Intentionally contributed to the development of safety protocols and the training of staff to minimize workplace hazards.

PROJECT: ABDULLAH SPORTS TOWER

JOB RESPONCEBILITIES.

Provided on-site supervision for the Abdullah Sport Tower, Overseeing the construction of the building’s structural elements and finishing work.
Supervised the construction of the Abdullah Sports Tower, ensuring all RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) and structural elements were executed per approved structural drawings and ACI 318 standards.
Conduct regular inspections of the building’s finishing details, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures for a successful project completion.
Assisted in the design and drafting of construction plans using AutoCAD.
Performed field visits to assess construction site conditions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Supported senior engineers in conducting material testing and quality control assessments.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
Prepare detailed and well-organized inspection reports that include observations, test results according to ASTM Standard, recommendations, and photographic evidence.
