As a System Engineer in Cisco CMS (Cisco Global Network Operation Center in Cloud & Managed) I take care about IT infrastructure of clients. My main tasks are creating and implementing changes on servers, solve problems, maintaing services. Technology used on daily basis:

Mainly as a Linux specialist I had to take care about maintain and configuring servers and services, security, routing tasks and backup strategy. I used to write own tools (scripts) for own purposes. One of the main achievements was the design of the structure of services/servers working together in the exchange of data and monitoring each others. I own RHCSA and RHCE certificates.

- OpenVZ/KVM virtualization management,
- servers: installation, maintenance, management,
- services: installation, configuration, monitoring (HTTP/FTP/SMB/NTP/POP3/IMAP),
- networking: deep knowledge technical aspects of transmission - packets filtering, sniffing, monitoring, flow control, classification of packet headers,
- firewall and security - any aspect of network and services security, spam filtering,
- technical network care (routers, switches).
