Oger Abu Dhabi is a premiere construction company dealing with the construction of high-rise commercial and residential buildings. In 20 April 2013 I started my role in The Louvre Project as a QA/QC Engineer primarily for inspectoral jobs. My duties involved:

1. Conducting site inspections to ensure that every discipline (civil, architectural, structural, etc.) is being done according to approved plans, method statements and specifications and that no quality of work is compromised. If deviations exist, Non Conformance Report (NCR) is issued.

2. Participating in implementing Quality Management System as per 9001:2008 standards.

3. Reviewing Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans and Quality Control checklists.

4. Monitoring the daily activities and coordinates with the Project Engineers regarding actual accomplishments and to maintain the projected construction flow of the project.

5. Coordinating with the consultants regarding solutions and corrective measures for closure of any non-conformance.

1. Implements Quality Management 9001:2008 standards as general.

2. Checks and assess the pre-qualification of suppliers and the compliance of materials submitted against Project Specifications and the environmental requirements like LEED CS, Estidama and Masdar KPIs.

3. Inspects the supplied materials on site together with the Architect.

4. Prepares punch lists and monitoring their closure.

Conducts site inspections to implement compliance to the approved plans, specifications and other Client requirements with respect to civil, structural and architectural finishes. Makes sure that Quality Management System is always maintained and implemented.

Reviews Method Statements, ITP, shop drawings and as-built drawings.

Liaise with the Consultants for possible solutions to non-conformance.

Implements Quality procedures in Construction Management including inspections and monitoring of construction and schedule of every house being constructed. Prepares contracts and evaluates Method Statements and contractor performance.

Inspects and the quality and compliance of construction procedures and monitors the schedule of work. Witnesses the testing of materials and evaluates the contractor and subcontractors performance.
