• Project Survey, detailed study of the project and preparation of preliminary field IO list, application development.

Functional Role:
1. Development of logics (Time based & event based programming) based on application
Control Philosophy in DCS, PLC.
2. Various MMI, SCADA mimic developments, Creation of Tag database, I/O Tag linking, Alarm,
Trend page settings & Report developments in Excel Format.
3. Instrument Loop checking/calibration with various field instruments like Primary Sensors,
Pressure transmitters, gauge, Temp sensors (Thermistor, RTD, Thermocouple), Flow
Transmitters, level transmitters, EMF based transmitters, Actuators, Motorized operating
Valves, Solenoid valves and Control valves.
4. Integration of various field I/Os (Profibus protocol based), and data acquisition using RS232,
RS485, Profibus, Ethernet, FDDI.
