•Shared advice and supported the Environmental Dept. and local Environmental Champions to ensure implementation of an effective environmental management system which supports ISO 14001.
•Collaborated and consulted with other teams and departments, including security, IT, fleet, and engineering, to streamline the operations while maintaining the highest standards of security and services.
•Planned and implemented maintenance programs across all properties to maintain the premises.
•Liaised with and managed the overall activities of the suppliers and contractors kept track of the agreed KPI and SLA terms and conditions, exercised cost controls and ensured timely services get delivered.
•Worked closely with the Facilities Support, Contracts & Productivity Manager to manage the conditions and equipment at the premises and always ensured that utility services operated effectively.
•Focused on assessing and minimising risks, implementing upgrades in a timely manner and obtained the best value from the external service providers.
Notable Achievements
•Successfully led and completed numerous projects related to new build-up and renovation/ refurbishment for the company across different locations. Few of the critical projects are:
•Greenfield design and build distribution warehouse including all MHE design at Perth.
•Refurbishment of a newly purchased warehouse including complete fit-out to include gas office/warehouse heating, air conditioning, new communication rooms, CCTV and vehicle doors installation and space planning of offices worth £600k at Aberdeen.
