Project Description:
UHG ( United Health Group) is health care company serves the markets for health benefits and services worldwide through our broad capabilities. Dental Facets is a product which handles enrollment, Group, Member and Billing(GMB) processing and other allied services pertaining to the Managed Care business for HCR business.
The International Classification of Diseases, 10th Edition (ICD-10) is the update of sign and symptom codes that are developed by the World Health Organization. ICD-10 replaces ICD-9 codes used by physicians and health care professionals to report diagnoses and procedures. Payers use the codes to accurately pay for procedures and services. As part of Facets ICD 10 QA Team, I have worked on many projects that are related to ICD 10 upgrade from ICD 9 in Facets. Some of the projects include: Dental Facets, CSP/RV ICD 10 Wave 1 testing and iCES project.

The purpose of this project is to add new logic to Auto-PCP process to handle overage EHB member scenario and Eligible EHB members. Auto PCP batch auto-assign PCP’s to DHMO members. A process was implemented in EIEI (SPRF #61418) to find all overage EHB members and assign them with a dummy overage PCP ‘000010402667’ . Auto-PCP assignment process runs after the EIEI enrollment. In Auto-PCP process, dependents are always assigned with the same PCP as that of Subscriber. For scenario where EHB Subscriber happens to be overage and dependents are underage, Auto-PCP process is considering ‘000010402667’ as a valid PCP and assigns it to the underage EHB dependent. This is incorrect and Auto-PCP process should be updated to handle this scenario..
