• Responsible for a team of eight direct reports, with a further 65 HSE Advisors reporting up through the management chain.

Responsible for EHSS, Facilities Technical Services Teams and Process maintenance, this is to ensure that EHSS/Facilities are aligned and all groups are working towards the same goals. $42, 000, 000 Budget to manage. $2, 500, 000 under budget in 2012, 2013 $2, 200, 000 under budget whilst at the same time improving services and Mean Time between Failures on assets.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team for the Facility to ensure all activities are co-ordinated and the Business resumption plan is implemented.
• Lead the Security and Fire teams, to ensure all processes are carried out to prevent damage to equipment and injury to people.
• Implemented FMEA’s across the whole organisation (Risk Assessments).
• Reduced EHS Headcount and implemented ownership of EHS with the production teams, 64% reduction of injuries in 2011 and a further 15% in 2012.
• Recycling of all waste streams - 96%,
• Reducing GHG on average 5% per year through engineering controls.
Responsible for all HSE requirements in Libya at three base locations and at the Rig sites, work included Logging of wells by seismic and other logging equipment.
• Implemented BH HSE Management System (ISO 18001).
• Responsible for all aspects of the Heat Treatment production process at Hughes Christensen (Drill Bits)-Increased productivity by 6 percentage points.
• Responsible for all aspects of a Hughes Christensen (Drill Bits) Assembly plant in Saudi Arabia, including the implementation of the Diamond Plant Project.
• Reducing Lost Time Accidents to zero
• Reducing Recordable Accident Rate to below 0.78 TRIR (OSHA)
• Implementing Behavioural Based HS&E Management System
• Implementing ISO14001 - accredited by Lloyds
• Reduced all recordable accidents to zero on all projects I was involved in.
• Responsible to ensure the requirements of the CDM regulations were fully implemented on all appropriate Civil and Engineering projects, including BMW’s new factory build at Hamm’s Hall.
• Project manager during the installation of Komatsu presses at Honda U.K. Swindon
• Safety / Project Manager during the installation of Press and Body shops in Toyota, France.
• Recommended solutions to safety problems and ensured correct implementation
Site safety manager during the installation of Hold Baggage screening systems at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Overseeing all contractors on GBP60, 000, 000 project on behalf of BAA, Project included demolition and build from foundations to completion including installation of equipment. Work carried out while normal Airport Operations took place.
