UDC5+ is a team of professionals that started on the 1st of

Orascom, an Egyptian renowned construction company, joined Besix, a prominent Belgian construction company to build
the largest archaeological museum in the world. The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will hold many artifacts of ancient
Egypt. It is a mega project with a budget of USD 810 million, and is scheduled to open in 2015.
* Responsible for all composite drawings extraction from BIM & preparing coordinated shop drawings between
different architectural finishes.
* Responsible for coordinating with subcontractor (Quantum Automatic Systems Company) concerning
Roller Shutter doors material, sample submittals and shop drawings
* Coordinate with MEP for the fixation & supporting system of the steel Gantries from the BIM.
* Generate coordinated shop drawings from BIM model for different architectural disciplines to Tech. office.
* Prepared shop drawings from the technical office for different architectural disciplines to the consultant, such as:
o Steel ladders & Steel gantries (Plans & sections)
o Block work (Plans, sections & details)
o General finishing (Plans & schedules)
o Waterproofing details
* Coordinate between Architecture & Structure drawings and raise RFIs when conflicts are detected.
* Designed the Mobilization plans at the beginning of the project.

OCI Engineering is a multi-discipline A/E division of the building business unit, one of Orascom Construction Industries
(OCI) business units. The division is established to provide Architectural, Engineering and Technical support services for
multifunction projects and supports all business units and Joint-Venture Projects of OCI.
