Planned, managed, and executed logistics and business operations at an international retail & destination management consulting business.

•Provided detailed itinerary consulting, conducted best practice store selection nationwide, and performed ongoing retail information research.
•Provided fully customized store evaluation guides, floor plans, pictures, store spec sheets, marketing material & customer service landscape.
•Conducted various on-demand price, range, merchandising & SKU checks, including mystery shopping, competitive assessment, and store auditing.
•Researched Caribbean market and collaborated with local developers to identify and attract missing international key players.
•Gained yachting experience on a Numarine 78-foot yacht.

Management of all engineering/maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements. Led the emergency response team for all facility issues. Responsible for maintaining the dhow of the owner, run by the Hotel as a Restaurant.

Achievements:
● Oversaw the concrete repair work for the pool deck slab and hotel roof during full operation of the Hotel.
● Supervised the consultancy company for issuing the tender documentation for various projects, as well as the tender processes and tender analysis.
● In charge of coordinating the design for the pool deck, ballroom, new restaurant and mock-up room with the design company and hotel management.
● Oversaw the re-furnishing of the main ballroom and mock-up room.
● Replaced all the conventional lighting in public areas with LED bulbs, saving the hotel an estimated 15% of energy cost.
● Managed and supervised a team of 38 multi-national/-cultural employees.

Pre-opening and Grand-opening of the Hotel with 844 rooms and apartments and continued maintenance in coordination with the hotel engineering team and construction companies after the opening.

•Solved the cooling efficiency in the laundry.
•Replaced all the conventional lighting in corridors with LED bulbs, saving the hotel an estimated 10% of energy cost.

Oversaw the efficient operation of the hotel properties and all its equipment including the desalination plant, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the owner’s assets. Was in charge of all structural aspects of the hotels as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities.

● Led a team of 3 assistants and 76 multi-national/-cultural employees.
● Oversaw the demolition of 100 apartments to be transformed into suites.
● Attend progress meetings with owners, management company, consultants, designers, and contractors.

Responsibilities: Maintained the entire hotel including commercial center, the physical building structure, all plants and FF&E, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

● Detected a major problem with the connection of the chilled water to the cascade units and rectified it.
● Increased the capacity of the seawater cooling for the chillers.
● Completed the renovation of Tower 2 with 14 floors.
● Managed and supervised a team of 55 national and multi-national/-cultural employees.

Responsible for the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the owner’s assets. Oversaw all structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds, external facilities, incl. the dinning yacht.

● Soft renovation of 202 rooms during hotel operation.
● Implemented all Starwood Standards after Le Meridien was sold to Starwood in 2005.
