control equipment.
• Ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation construction
work is carried out in accordance with project drawings and
project requirements.
• Ensuring safe and effective activities in line with the Health,
Safety, and Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality
Control requirements.
• Maintaining thorough working knowledge of applicable
codes, standards, and local requirements.
• Establishing, authorizing, and implementing construction
schedules and strategies.
• Ensuring field construction operations are within budget.
• Supervising and managing employees and Sub-contractors
EPC.
• Work closely with QS for project progress, claims and
invoices.
• Attend all contractual mandated meetings i.e., coordination,
progress, HSE, weekly, monthly and Site meetings.
Project Portfolio:
• Extension of National Power Transmission Grid
Mozambique.
• 275kv, 110kv and 33kv transmission lines and sub-stations
construction.
• Greenfields and Brownfield.
• Remote Locations.
Implementing the Construction Management Plan (CMP).
• Supervise and manage installation of all electrical and
instrumentation equipment.
• Controlling the scope of work relating to bill of quantities
and all Battery Limits.
• Attending all construction related meetings and consulting
with all stakeholders and clients as required.
• Controlling construction material and equipment deliveries.
• Reviewing daily reports from Site Supervisors to monitor site
safety and Production efficiency.
• Monitoring and assess project progress and report to the
main Contractor.
• Reviewing daily risk assessments and JHA’s.
• Supervise Quality Control and Quality assurance related
activities.
• Input, Review, and counter sign all Daily, Weekly, Monthly
and Three Week Look Ahead Reports.
• Supervise and coordinate Pre-commissioning and
Commissioning testing activities.
• Reviewing ITP requirements and compliance.
