Reviewing and following up publishers contracts
Writing a page of administrative data in English, to match with what the original publisher wants, as stated in the contract.
Expressing an opinion in the Arabic and English books.
Assessing translators, following them up, answering their questions, and providing help to make the translations better later.
Editorial work
Reviewing translated texts in terms of selecting words that are precise and expressive, without changing the content of the original book.
Editing all kinds of texts to make them simpler, and revising the linguistic, grammatical and contextual mistakes.
Reviewing the layout of the page, and choosing the fonts and formats appropriate to the content of the book.
Reviewing the content in terms of: accuracy, so that it will not contradict the policy of the publishing house.
Translation:
Translating texts that may be inadvertently forgotten by the translator.
Writing:
Writing the introduction of Dar El Thaqafa and the texy of the back cover page and suggestions for titles for each book I worked at.
Writing some articles as requested.
Special works:
Processing and compilation of materials, as requested by GM.
Writing articles, lectures, working papers, and ... etc., in Arabic and English, as requested by the GM.
Reviewing and editing articles, lectures, working papers, etc., of GM.
