In my tenure in the office I was exposer to but not limited to
•Inventory Management

•Daily issuance of food and consumable items
•Maintenance of reorder level for over four Contracts .
•I was incharge of compiling the daily food cost report for all the contracts in and outside the base camp this role allowed me to develop proper control measures like developing requisition forms that helped the Chefs of these contracts to know there cost even before requesting anything from the Stores.
•I Created an MS excel system that shows a color change when the items are 60 days to expiry, a system that allowed management to decide on what to do with these items before they expire.
•I helped the company gain extra revenue of over $6000 per month by bringing in a new bracket of clients which were never welcomed before, these are the walk in clients who purchased items directly from the warehouse.
•I created a strong working relationship with my Collogues especially the food production department, Housekeeping, and the DFAC.
•Because of my honesty I managed to reduce wastage of company resources by applying proper negotiation skills with vendors hence reducing prices of commoities and closing loop hole.
•I Single handedly managed the logistics department in the absence of the manager.
•Feed data into the internal data base system.
•I Supervised the cleaning of the warehouse as per Standard
•I Manage the temperature record for both the frozen and chilled Containers
•I was given the mandate to timely clear with customs department all cargo from the airport especially FF&V and I handled all my duties professionally.
