Job description
- End-to end Operations management;
- Emails (MS Outlook/ 365) and verbal communication with Customers, Suppliers & other stake holders;
- Extensive Data Base Management (MS Excel), Data analysis (Predominantly Quantitative)
- Data Reporting (Daily, Tailor-made and Annual);
- Contract management including price negotiation;
- Daily work flow planning, delegation and distribution;
- Research and investigation of potential pockets of opportunities.
Achievements
- Promoted from DA-Desk (Marcura group) to PD as Asst. Manager to take charge of operations.
- Successful formulation and re-orientation of operational model and workflow when the business observed significant expansion of 30% by volume (increasing rapidly), with an introduction of 7 new additional services, also an introduction of new staff members.

- Scrutinize & analyze Disbursement accounts of vessel calls.
- Communication with ship agents and customers to resolve port cost related issues.
- Operational activities executed in the indigenous DBMS.
Achievements
- Nominated for and participated in a Special Project R&D team to brainstorm investigate and devise interdepartmental process orientation within the organization reporting directly to the group MD and the Deputy Commercial Director. Duly submitted project report citing propositions that were successfully implemented by the year end 2013-14.
- Promoted as Assistant Manager to join the PortsDirect operations team, through internal selection process amongst above 50 candidates.
