Responsibilities
•Overall management of the treasury & corporate finance team across 5 geographies (cash flow management, reporting, risk management)
•Managing relationships with around 25 banks & other stakeholders (project finance, debt management etc)
•Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports including cash flow reports (budgets, rolling forecasts)
•Adhoc financial analysis and reports (covenant management, MTM reporting etc)
Achievements
•Organized facilities with various banks for approximately AED 1.8bn.
•Implementation of cash flow module in ERP leading to better understanding of liquidity position
•Assisted in implementation of VAT by modifying client invoices / subcontract certificates issued from ERP etc
•Appointment of 3rd party consultants / negotiations with various banks for discounting facilities leading to reduced financing costs (estimated savings of around AED 600k per annum)
•Facilitated Settlements with various subcontractors for AED 300m leading to re-engagement of the sub cons on the various projects & reducing bonding and legal risks.
•Preparation & presentation of 3-way finance models to banks for restructure / refinance of syndicated facilities of AED 2bn
•Managing the portfolio of promissory notes- sell down process, liabilities of circa AED 110m reduced on the balance sheet
Limitless is a global integrated real estate master developer specialising in master planning large scale, balanced mixed-use communities and waterfront developments. The B/S size of the group is around AED 1.5bn. Limitless has projects in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Vietnam and UAE. The company has around 600 employees.
Responsibilities:
•Creating, monitoring and managing forecasts
•Consolidation of management accounts of group including preparation of board packs
(incorporating variance and other meaningful analysis)
•Handling treasury functions (around 14 banks and debt of AED 1.3bn) and building relationships with banks, auditors, external advisors (Around 20 group companies mainly in Russia, Vietnam, KSA and India).
•Financial analysis and planning (adhoc and regular)
Achievements
•Successful restructuring of around AED 1.3bn of loans (restructure included renegotiation of milestones and further deferrals to repayment period)
•Set up the cash flow reporting system in the group
•Improved yield on bank deposits by negotiating with various banks and by analysing various products
Engineer’s Office (project management and construction arm of Dubai Govt)
The Engineers’ office is a real estate master developer & facility management company specialising in master planning large scale, balanced mixed-use communities and waterfront developments. Total number of employees are around 10, 000.
Responsibilities:
Project Finance, Financial Analysis and Planning
•Conducting due diligence and detailed project feasibility studies (from a financial angle by preparing detailed financial models, concept notes, job instructions and interacting with various stakeholders) and submitting business plans for various projects (studies conducted for large scale (USD 1 Bn and above) amusement parks, event management companies, housing projects etc)
•Uploading of budgets into SAP, analysing variances from actuals on a monthly / ad hoc basis and preparing reports for management
•Custodian of all financial analysis related work including planning, finalizing the scope of the work and getting the final reports approved by management.
Management Reporting:
•Managing the reporting requirements, processes and procedures for capturing, maintaining, and reporting accurate data.
•Consolidation of accounts of various group entities and presenting monthly reports to management
Reporting to: Head of
fundamental research (financial analysis, DF valuation etc) on listed stocks both in Futures & Options and equity segments and prepare management reports / presentations.
•Using data mining tools (along with other statistical tools and pattern recognition software) to detect market manipulations
•Compliance with rules and regulations of SEBI / Companies Act
•Implementation of SAS (Insider trading module), worked with Business Objects

•Audits of manufacturing companies like BPCL, Private limited companies, Charitable trusts Societies etc.
•Individual Tax returns.
•Preparation of Sales Tax returns
