Over the past few years, I have backpacked many parts of India. Having grown up in the Tea Gardens of the North East part of India, I have always longed to go back. This dream became a reality after about 20 odd years. In 2013 i finally managed to backpack a few of the states there. Other places I have visited would be Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, etc.
