Preparation of Conceptual, FEED, Invitation to Tender, Post Tender Queries and FEED Documents and study /calculations required for EPC award.
• Responsible for reviewing and approval of Datasheets, Specifications, Single line & Protection Metering Diagrams, Electrical Power Management & Load shedding Philosophy, Earthing, Lighting and Power Layouts, Material requisitions, Inspection Test plans, Technical Bid Tabulations. Design and engineering of Power generation and distribution system using 2*18.75 MW GT, 2* 26MW GT and 1 *15 MW STG,
• Responsible for vendor document review and providing comments per scope definition, including review of Motor drawings and Mechanical Packages. Checking of design deliverables to ensure correctness of the document based on established design procedures / standards.
• Checking of drawings based on established project procedures /standards. Review Control Schematic diagrams, LV & HV Distribution Systems, Electrical Load Lists and Substation Equipment Layouts as required by the discipline

• Reviewing the electrical requirements for all major packaged equipment supplies like
Instrument Air Compressor, Gas Injection Compressor, Nitrogen Generation package,
Fire Water Packages, Chemical Injection Package, Effluent Treatment Package,
Dehydration package, Desalter package, Large Process Pump packages, Fired Heaters
Thyristor Controlled Electric heaters, Flares, Air Coolers etc.
Reliance has set up world largest grass root refinery Jamnagar; Project
value worth US$ 4 Billion - Storage tanks, pipelines & loading jetties and Processing
facilities.
Nature of Activities Involved:
• Involved in preparation of overall & detailed SLD including protection / metering
diagrams,
• Preparation of Conceptual electrical distribution network for electrical system which
involves . GTGs, operating in Synchronized mode. Involved in preparation of project
specification, data sheets and preliminary calculations etc
• Worked as a Package Engineer for Switchgear, Protection Relay Panels & Power
Transformer which involves coordinating with Client, Vendor and internal coordination
with other departments (QA/Procurement/Project/Fabrication).
• Later I was to the Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Power Transformers,
GTG/STG, unit Transformers, Auxiliary Transformers, Control & relay panels, 33KV
GIS Switchgear, 6.6KV Switchboard, 415V LV switchboard, marshalling panel,
110VDC UPS, 48VDC UPS and 240V AC UPS battery banks & chargers, Excitation
panel, VSD drives Panels, Thyristor Panels etc.
Nature of Activities Involved:
• Worked for site construction of 2 x 20.85 MW BHEL GTG package and its power
distribution network.
• I was involved in preparation of drawings / documents like SLD, power and grounding
layouts, Substation equipment arrangement layout, Electrical Load Schedule, HV / LV
Power cable sizing calculation, Battery & Battery charger sizing calculation, cable
schedule and cable cross sectional details. Handled procurement activities like MR, PR,
Vendor drawings review for 11kV & 3.3kV switchboards, Neutral Grounding Resistor,
LV motors, HV / LV cables AC/DC UPS.
Attained an overall percentage of 75%
