Position : Planning/Estimation& Documentation Control Engineer
Period : October 2012 to till date.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspection & Expedition of Static & Rotary equipments, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Furnace etc..
Co-ordinating Inspection activities with the consultant / client as per QAP & ITP requirements.
Proper Documentation and Control of whole Inspection & Expedition Reports.
Preparation of Cost Estimate and BOM and conduct of Incoming Material Inspection.
Preparation of procedure and quality assurance plans.
Erection and Fabrication of Critical Piping, Small Bore Piping such as Drain lines, LP Lines etc.
Co-ordinating various NDT activities and formulating Inspection Reports.
Reviewing the completed documentation package for pressure test.
Daily Project Planning and scheduling job orders.
Design and Fabrication as per ASME, AWS, AISI and API standards.
Write Daily Production and Product position report to the Client Representative.
Technical Interaction with clients and satisfying their needs.
Correspondence with Subcontractors and client.
Prepare monthly target with completion schedule.
Collection & Evaluation of price variations & modifying estimate as per standards.
Fabrication and Manufacturing of Tipper Trailers, Flatbed and Low bed Trailers, Cement Bulkers, Tanker Trailers & Other Steel Work.
Visual inspection as per codes and standards.
Witness, evaluation, and interpretation of NDT techniques like DPT, MPT, RT etc. Co-ordinate with NDT personal and making arrangement to complete the job in time.
Inspection of preheating, post heating and post weld heat treatment activities.
Inspection of Raw materials as per ASME Std. Codes.
Reviewing the completed documentation package for pressure test.
Daily Production Planning and scheduling job orders.
Design and Fabrication as per ASME, AWS, AISI and API standards.
Write Daily Production and Product position report to the factory manager.
Cost Estimation and control and preparation of preliminary estimated design.
Evaluation & Execution of methods which minimize cost without affecting quality.
Stress Analysis and Execution of Low Cost design improving quality.
Preparation of Bill of Materials and control of material flow & purchase.
Technical Interaction with clients and satisfying their needs.
Correspondence with Subcontractors and client.
Collection & Evaluation of price variations & modifying estimate as per standards.
Internal auditing & Control of the Costing Department.
Collecting available resources and project scheduling.
Preparation of Baseline and thus finding the estimated end date of the project.
Estimation of Budgeted Cost of the project.
Updating activities according to the bar chart and estimating duration.
Estimation of Actual Cost of the project.
Project analysis comparing Actual and Theoretical Cost.
Profit and loss analysis.
Manage works, manpower and overtime at the factory.
Create plans to improve quality and quantity of products.
Ability to generate business growth and ensure profitability.
Submit weekly & monthly quality inspection and production reports to the General Manager.
Fabrication & Erection for Pipe line works.
Manage a large welding and fabrication work-shop.
Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification.
Inspection for consumable electrode such as composition, type, grade and baking as per WPS.
Inspection of finished work items including with joint fit-up different fittings and welding.
Preparation of day-today activities, progress monitoring and reporting.
Monitoring the welder’s performance through repairs and controlling.
Visual inspection as per codes and standards.
Read design and fabrication drawings.
Daily Production Planning and scheduling job orders.
Write Daily Production and Product position report to the factory manager.
Cost Estimation and Control, thus preparing preliminary estimated design.
Collecting available resources and project scheduling.
Preparation of Baseline and thus finding the estimated end date of the project.
Estimation of Budgeted Cost of the project.
