• Communicate effectively with team members and management to create work schedules, train new employees, and resolve any interpersonal issues as needed.
• Handle guests concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to Hamad International Airport policy.
• Accountable for landside management on a shift-basis managing kerbside and vicinity roads including Airport access roads and Tunnel System. Other areas will include the public mosque, Terminal utility and service stations, parking structures and other facilities.
• Accountable for the efficient development of protocols for flexibility purposes and creating an integrated strategy for the end car park to accommodate uncertainty, change and emergency situations.
• Maintain airline policy and comply with all safety procedures and airline policies.
• Provides safety and security around the parked aircraft, load and unload baggage, direct all arriving and departing aircraft to and away from the gate, operate and maintain ground and gate equipment and vehicles, service the aircraft and remain in communication with flight operations, among other duties.
• Observe safe ground operations procedures and maintains of ground services equipment, including performance and serviceability checks.
• Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of baggage, cargo, courier, mail and company materials; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of the same.
• Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage; constantly communicate with Capt. /Crew and other ground personnel with airlines representatives.
• Provide good service to customers, follows safety and security on the ramp.
• Operate airline computer system or baggage scanner as required.
• Ramp handling services for Freighter aircraft with different kind of aircraft from multiple airlines.
• Successfully completed of Ramp Handling Services for B787 ‘Dream-liner’ aircraft under ‘Qatar Airways’ and ‘Airbus 380’ aircraft under ‘Emirates’.
• Improved operations through consistent hard work and dedication.
