• Plan, supervise, co-ordinate and implement installation of CBTC Signaling systems which includes On-board CBTC system, Wayside CBTC Signalling equipment and indoor Signalling equipment.
• Review Signalling Book of circuit, Installation Manual, Design Documents, Interface Documents, PICO (Post installation checkout) procedure, SAT (Site Acceptance Test) procedure for all CBTC Signalling equipment.
• Organize and plan Signalling installation work to maximize utilization of resources, ensuring task sheets are completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Conduct task according to Work Schedules and periodic (daily, weekly, monthly & yearly) inspection plans.
• Organize and control the Signalling installation work undertaken by allocated staff and contractors and ensure that work is carried out safely.
• Monitoring activities at Hazardous sites, and develop Method Statements to ensure safety.
• Monitoring and inspecting individual work plans for Signalling installation activities.
• Production of quality inspection report and timely rectification of all Signalling defects.
• Carry out safety and quality audits on installers and agency/sub-contractors.
• Managing the personal safety and administration of allocated staff and contractors.
• Work with the allocated Project Commercial Team to provide effective change control on the Signalling installation and T&C works.
• Attend Request for Inspections (RFI) submitted by the contractor for material inspection, installation inspection, Post installation checkout (PICO) and System acceptance test (SAT) of Signalling equipment.
• Involve in all T&C activities planned by contractor.
• Ensure rework cycles are minimized and lessons learnt.
• Attending several Interface meetings with other departments.
• Proposing solutions for various issues related to Design, installation and T&C during project execution.
