Recieves vehicle and prepares Jobcards.
•Jobcard is assigned to the technician for specific job indicated.
•Quality checked the job done.
•Prepare the Proforma of the Jobcard for Costing.
Knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics
•Knowledge of Machine Work Operation at Don Bosco Technical Institue, i have experience with Nickel Plating, Oxy-Acetylene/Electric welding, Lathe machine.
•Knowledge of Car Restoration.
•Passion for Classic cars. My old car i drove with the movie " Oro Plata Mata" which was a Chrysler Windsor 1938. My Range Rover 1986 for 15years i mostly restored/rebuilt it myself is still with me. Proud to say it was former owned by His Royal Highness King Abdula.
•Desire to be the best on what i do with cars.
•Lead and update the technicians who work with me so he will be top of his level. I believe that a happy technician produces twice my expectation of him.
Recieves vehicle Jobcards from sevice advisors.
•Jobcards are computer recorded with Autoline (Kerridge) system.
•Jobcard's work descriptions are analysed as I assign specific time to each work description to be accomplished by the technician chosen to do the work.
•Upon completion of work, Jobcards are returned to the Control room as I final check the technician write ups & then prepare the jobcard for Quality control.
•Once Quality control has passed/signed, I prepare the Proforma of the Jobcard for Costing.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Carry out mechanical services for Jaguar and Land Rover Vehicles .
•Carry out maintenance services for Brakes system.
•Carry out engine, transmission, transfer boxes, differential services.
•Carry out HEVAC (Heating, Ventillation & Air conditioning) system.
•Carry out electrical diagnostics and repair of electrical system 2005 - mid 2009
•Carry out my duty as Qualtity Controller from Feb 2009 till Jan 2010.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Manage and control workshop and processes.
•Carry out and/or supervise vehicle maintenance services and conversions.
•Carry out and/or supervise classic vehicle Tune-Ups & Restorations.
•Perform vehicle engine swap/conversions.
