• Surveying project site and preparation of project estimates.
• Creating specifications, tendering and procurement for station and district based projects.
• Safety management, quality management and supervision of projects.
• Maintenance and updating of standard operating procedures, risk assessments and method statements for ongoing projects.
• Maintaining station reading registers, records, and reports from projects and inspections.
• Topographical surveying and preparation of AutoCAD drawing and related software support to the team.
• Supervision of construction for yard structures, excavation, boring, cage insertion and pile cap.
• Preparation and approvals of site documentation within work domain. Accurate setting out of the work and dimensional control.
• Ensuring activities are carried out in safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan.
• Inspecting project construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervision and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors. Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance. Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed. Ensure the site diary is accurately maintained against each record the date, location and serial number.
• Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
• Supervision of works includes work planning, coordination, progress monitoring, and quality control.
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects. Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time. Assist QS with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.
• Assist the Site management team to update material reconciliation and progress reports.
• Ensure all materials on site are suitable stored in line with manufacture’s recommendations current working practice, contract specification or project requirements. Ensure equipment is calibrated in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies.
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
• Develop time estimate and cost estimate for projects. Draw up blueprints according to technical specification.
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data. Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
• The production of survey information and red lined drawings for the completion of the As-built record
