A global review of legislation and regulations in many countries in the Middle East relating to the use, storage and waste chemical substances as (AFFFs) and (PFCs).

General Description:
- Supporting the Engineering Team in planning, scheduling, monitoring and execution of Projects.
- Analyzing all contract and proposal data establishing the work activities, and create a detailed and properly sequenced project schedule.
- Monitoring actual job progress, compare to contract baseline and report progress against schedule.
- Assisting Proposal Team in developing preliminary project schedules.
- Attending project team and client meetings as and when required.

Providing assistance and internal quality management system (QMS) audits for projects and proposals to ensure the office compliance with the QMS standards. Tasks:

1.Review internal procedures and supporting documents to ensure that they provide an effective control system and to identify any weaknesses.
2.Carry out internal office audits and compliance testing.
3.Provide information and assistance to staff to enable them to comply with requirements.
4.Assist in the development of any internal audit program to ensure all functions are subject to systematic reviews.

Project: Nadafa’s Waste Management Audit, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Tasks:

- Preparing waste reduction reports for tourism, industrial, construction, manufacturing and insurance companies in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to be submitted to Nadafa.

Project:
Shams1 Commissioning Permits Management for Shams Power Company. The project entails the installation of the first solar energy power plant, Shams1. Tasks:
- Developing and monitoring project’s execution plan and schedule, cost break down and financial plan.
- Preparing weekly internal and external project’s progress reports.
- Preparing and writing the project Operation Environmental Management Plan (OEMP) for EAD approval.
- Preparing a Waste Management Plan for the solar thermal power plant.
- • Assisting the Project’s Permitting Lead in the coordination of applications and securing approvals for the project developments (design, construction, operation) from governmental/ Local authorities including Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), Regulation and Supervision Bureau (RSB), ZonesCorp, DOT, The Center of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi (CWM), utility companies and other local authorities.
- Preparing Greenhouse Gas Emission reports.

Project: Shuweihat Asia Power Company (SAPCO), Estidama Program Review, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Tasks:
- Provide the client with a background overview of the Urban Planning Council (UPC) Estidama program.

Project:
Abu Dhabi Hazardous Waste Treatment Facility Assessment and Approval. AL Qudra Suez which is assigned by Abu Dhabi Center of Waste Management has selected URS as the Consultant to carry out all the environmental, Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and Estidama permitting operating procedures. Tasks:
- Developing and monitoring project’s execution plan and schedule, documents control register, cost break down and financial plan.
- Developing a project Introduction presentation for Urban Planning Council (UPC).
- Assistance in reviewing the requirements of UPC and Estidama for the project planning approval.
- Assistance in preparing Environmental Permit Application (EPA), Terms of References (TOR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for EAD NOC.
- Assisting the Permitting Lead in the acquisition of permits as well as No Objection Certificates (NOCs), as per required from ADM and Monitoring NOC’s process on Abu Dhabi Municipality e-portal.
- Developing a permit and NOC register.
- Preparing weekly internal and external project’s progress reports.
- Tracking the project cost (realized income and expenses).
- Preparing meetings agendas and minutes of meetings.

Project: Sir Bani Yas Security Assessment and Approval. The objective of URS’s professional services is to offer consultancy services to ADFEC “Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company” in their acquisition of approval letters, NOCs and building permits. Tasks:
- Preparing the Regulatory Jurisdiction report and the Permitting Strategy report.
- Preparing project presentations.
- Preparing weekly internal and external reports.

Project:
URS was Nokia Siemens Networks Supervisor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for MTC GSM project "phase2". Tasks:
- Track the Purchase Orders from NSN and issue PO's to Subcontractors.
- Track the project cost (realized income and expenses).
- Using JD Edwards Enterprise One to generate accounting reports and compare financial status to the budget and goals and monitor income and expense.

Project:
URS was Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) Supervisor in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain regions for DU GSM project. Tasks:
- Key user of NSN Electronic Program Management system (EPM).
- Training the contractor's personnel on the use of the project database software.
- Maintain the project database, project documentation library and software.
- Coordinate with implementation contractors on project deliverables.
- Prepare daily detailed and summary progress report to the project director and NSN project regional manager.
- Tracking building permits and NOCs during Site Acquisition phase.
- Coordinate with project team on sites status and obtaining daily reports for database update.
- Prepare submittals to private and public agencies for site acquisition purposes.

URS was Nokia Siemens Networks Supervisor in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for MTC GSM project "phase1". Tasks:
- Supervise and train the database team in Saudi for MTC project.
